Hi folks. I've got a really weird result from my last print. Some layers , all the same height around 3.5 - 4cm, seems to break away. The first attempt turn out nearly perfect, only one cut on the side near the z-rail. For the second attempt see pictures ... despite the fact that i changed the orientation to a better angle and put stronger and more supports on it. By the way used Prusa Slicer for supports and validate the file with no islands left. Temperature is around 20/21°C with Elegoo Grey. For settings see image. After some starting issues all my last prints turned out very well. Especially since i use Prusa for supports. Also changed & tuned my FEP a while ago. Any ideas ? Other orientation or should i try to split the part into two smaller ones ? maybe the FEP ist to tight near the edge ? PS: my firmware is 4.2.18 epax

After two months pause I start printing again (as I decided not to use printer in flat anymore). Unfortunately, body will be scrapped as I couldn't fit another part in it, I guess model shrinked or something (if anyone have idea how I can improve pegs, please let me know :) ), paint was done just for fun. This morning head was done and next is new torso. Hopefully everything will work out now. Statue should be 30+ cm in total.

Hello everyone! Need some help)

Photon S here. I have some weird artifacts at all of my prints , printed at 20um layer height lately.

Those doesn't look like layer offset - more like overexposure at few layers. Does anyone have idea what can cause it? I've changed motor with lead screw and nothing changed - still have those lines, although annoying backlash went away and surface is better overall.

My thoughts are - this is look like wrong height at certain layers set by slicer and printer overexposure some layers and some layers are underexposure - which cause those irregularities. It doesn't look like wobbling too... Or is it?

So, I am having an issue here.

I have made one print with super huge details and split in smaller chunks to fit the build plate. Turns out these parts are not fitting together anymore, due to shrinkage of the material (caused by the orientation on the build plate). Can you tell me a way to soften the hardned resin in order to make them fit more nicely?
