This is one of the first models i designed and uploaded a while back on thingiverse for my son's lego collection. I scaled it down a lot for the anycubic. Even the little pegs for lego figs and batman logo on hubs are visible.

Hey all I’m making a light box for curing prints, I know there is UV-B and UV-A light from the sun, but light bulbs I find is UV-A only.

Does anyone know the UV curing requirement or will both UV types work?

So 3rd try through (first bed wasn't set right, so complete failure, 2nd one was posted yesterday) and this time it come out better, but looking at the base, it feels like something went 'off' right from the go. did my bed become unleveled because of the suction perhaps? It seemed when I checked it that it was pulling pretty hard when it was printing, but I've only used FDM up until now so I have no gauge for 'normal'

almost dialed in, thanks for all the help so far all!

I’ve noticed that when I’m slicing files the estimated time is always WAY out compared to the time the printer will take.

I’ve just set a print away where the slicer estimated 36 minutes (currently still using the supplied photon slicer)
The printer is estimating 56

What causes the difference? Is there something the software is not factoring in but the printer is?
If I use different software, will I be given better estimations?

Hi,

I was trying hole in Chitubox and tell me, how big they need to pour out resin from hollowed object? And, how big need be vent for air intake?

My first try was 1,8mm for both, but vent was to low and resin stay on they level. I have not comparison that this is good or not, in hole sizes term :P

Hi everyone! So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and finally order a Photon but I've run into a dilemma: Which one to buy. The Photon or the Photon S? I love the community support the Photon has but I also like the increased buildplate size on the Photon S and the steps they've taken to reduce the Z wobble. I'll be printing miniatures so a larger buildplate would definitely be a nice to have. My experience in 3d printing is exclusively related to FDM and my only experience with resin printing is what I've read on here (a wealth of information!) and the Youtube videos I've been watching. So, my question is which would you buy? I'm keen to get any input, positive or negative. Thanks!
