Thanks for the add!

I'm a complete noob to 3D printing, but have narrowed in on the Anycubic Photon and Photon-s as my potential first 3D printer. I was originally introduced to my first 3D print during a build of a studio scale Millennium Falcon, which required a screen accurate cockpit, and a 3D print was the only way to achieve that at the time! I've since become interested in the possibility of printing odds and ends, but mainly interested in printing parts for existing model kits (to improve realism and accuracy), or printing custom models.

I'm looking forward to looking through and reading up on the Photon series, as I think it might best match what I'm looking for in a first printer.

Last week I bought a liter of the Anycubic Green resin. Did everything the way I always do, shook the resin up well before putting it in. Since then I have not had a single print stick to the build plate. I releveled the bed but still nothing sticks. Sanded the bed, nothing. Could the resin be bad? It does look a little thinner that previous resins. The green is the only resin I have ever used so the settings should be good. Any ideas?

Besides spray primer, is there a good liquid primer I can paint with brush on miniatures that would adhere well? Like craftsman paint or something else?

Having a small problem, why plant print a large flat surface it likes to separate from the build plate. I've double and triple checked to make sure that it's level, I made sure that I have enough supports, and I've made sure that we have enough for resin. Most of the time I actually end up having the actual supports and the platform stick to the bill plate itself and then the flat surface of the print starts to come away from the actual supports. I'm attaching a picture to kind of show how that looks.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

I have plenty of other flat surfaces that it prints just fine. I just have no idea why some of these flat surface Prince end up being so weird.

Does anyone had this mess on the printer's window? It's something that appeared over night. I have the printer for almost 1 week now and this thing is stuck like shit on carpet. It doesn't wash off with IPA. It is on every window now.

Hi all, I came from working with a PLA flashforge creator pro and now i'm trying out the resin game. I had a month full of amazing prints, but I got to the bottom of my Anycubic Skin bottle and wanted to use the last of the resin (yes there's enough for a few prints), but my prints are only printing the base of the model that has the supports, but then nothing else, the supports and model don't get made. Any idea what could be wrong?

Also, what do you guys do with the last of a resin of a different color? Do you mix it in with another resin or harden it and toss it? I considered just making a little aluminum bowl and pouring unused resin and hardening it with my UV setup and just tossing it, but I was curious what others are doing here.

I previously just left my resin out in the sun in a thing of IPA so that the IPA could evaporate and the sun would cure the resin, but that turned into a mess of white crap stuck to my tupperware container so that didn't work out :(
