I've published my Photon VOC filter design. It directs build area fumes coming from the stock fan directly into a 3M 6001 organic vapor respirator cartridge. Should be a super easy mod to make and install. Print three parts, buy a $6 filter. ~5 minute install.

After installing this I've been printing with AC red all evening and so far my expectations have been exceeded. Can't detect any smell in the room. Maybe a hint in the area 2-3 feet from the printer. Please try it out and give feedback here or on Thingiverse.

looking for some insight from the photonhood.

there are 10 kittens in total and only one is missing a hind leg, looks like it squashed up. Nothing stuck to the fep and the kittens were sliced with all feet touching the build plate.

Preview in the slicer looks fine and I am using anycubic black with settings that work well.

Any idea what could be the cause of this limping kitty? unfortunately i noticed it after the ipa bath and have no idea if it was at the edge of the build plate, I always leave a safety margin

First failed print. I guess we all have em... I ended up trying to print this little guy 2cm tall and solid because when I hollowed him out Chitubox kept putting supports inside of him and I couldn't figure out which ones to delete and which ones to keep. Looks like he fell off the supports and stuck to the FEP. Any suggestions?

So I made one of these to regulate temperature in my print chamber, now I just need to run the wires to the external power supply. Any suggestions that won’t drill through the outer chassis? I considered drilling through the red plate that everything sits on, but I’m not sure if that would be a good idea. I want to leave it as intact as possible so that I don’t void any warranty’s, but I know not everyone has that opinion. I suppose I could make a couple spacers and run the cord through the hole that the fume extractor sits on ether side of.
