Hi, I have been watching this page for some time and have decided to finally pull the trigger and buy one myself ( now that I have a business use case)

Can you recommend a good starting resin for a beginner, buying off amazon.ca most likely.

Can a part be cured on all sides at once? Yes. I can’t overstate how awesome this thing works. You can build it for about $70 with free recycled microwave from the dump (not what I did).

I'm considering finally purchasing a printer. I understand the Photon S is different enough that this fine community's resources won't work on it, so that puts it at a disadvantage. So that leaves me considering either the Original Photon or the Epax X1 (if I can find the X1 in stock).

Those of you with experience using the Epax X1, are the resources developed by this community for the Photon directly usable with the Epax X1? Is workflow generally the same on the Epax X1 as it is on the Photon? Any negatives on the Epax X1 compared to Photon?

Does anyone know what needs to be changed to keep portions of a print from coming out missing? Or as flat sections instead of formed limbs? I have noticed this happening since Chitubox upgraded to 1.4.

sorry... i consulted the group and the group highly advised to not use duct tape in order to extend a fep sheet life... i didnt listen... xD
further more... i did it, and it worked... i used it as a final resource until a new sheet arrives, and i had prints to deliver...
funny thing the print was the stinger king and babies xD

Well.. at 0,02 i didnt get anyprint (it could be lack of Z home recalibration.. i'll test this in a while..)
at 0,05 i had mixed prints.. some parts failed and some did work
at 0,1 it works like a charm. no problem

I do not print or place or have tried to print objects where the duct tape is. I just use it as a "black spot", so the general "usable" print zone is less than half on the X axis.
