I have a guilty confession to make.

I tried using Chitubox about 3 months ago and my print failed miserably so I assumed it was garbage software and didn't try it again.

A few days ago the anycubic slicer was doing some weird support nonsense as is it's way - I was placing supports manually like I always do, and it was putting those support bridge pieces just hanging in the air not connected to anything.

I decided to try try Chitubox again, and I realized that I had forgotten to set my resin settings when I tried it the first time. When I opened up the resin section, I only had like three bottom layers and they were only being exposed for 30 seconds.

I just finished my first (correctly set) print in Chitubox and it came out beautifully. The supports were perfect and came off like a dream.

I feel pretty stupid to be honest.

Guys I don't know if I can make this question here but if I'm not allowed to, please just lemme know and I'll delete this.

All out of the blue my ChituBox is not showing in the right (black panel) panel the structure of my printing.

Did anyone ever passed through this?

Printed some items with my newly acquired (2ish weeks old) photon.. Truly amazed at the detail compared to my Prusa Mk2s. Changed my FEP for the first time last night and it was a much easier than anticipated. Excited to see what else this little machine can do!

Vat cover done overnight :)
Also saw the posts about screen lift. Now taped down with Kapton tape. Something to point out is that if you are using a heater this may well make screen lift more easy as it will soften the glue somewhat, only slightly but worth keeping in mind. At work we use heat guns to help replace ipad and phone screens for this reason. just a thought.
