So, I just finished my first print and I thought I would make a few observations:
1) When leveling the print bed, don't loosen the lock screw too much to start with. I started with it way too loose and the result was one corner was just a tad too tight (i.e. not level) I loosened the screw just a tad and re-leveled.
2) Even after watching all the videos covering processing a print after it's done in the machine, I failed to realize how much of a pain it is. I need to take some time to streamline the post print workflow through my work area (which is way to cramped)

The print (photon test lattice) worked great. Now on to slicing stuff for this machine.

You are in hot water! Lol
This is not perfect but I found something out today. After washing it in IPA, I ran the model under hot water which made it easier for me to remove the support on very tiny objects.

I don’t know if this is the right thing to do, but it works for me.

What kind of lube should you use on the Z axis rod? Will Tri-Flow Superior Dry Lubricant work or does someone have a better choice?

Hello, so I have had my photon since December and haven't been having too many issues until just the other day. The photon started the first layer of the print and then shut down. It started back up after a moment and showed the home screen. It has been doing the same thing ever since on all of the prints I attempt. Any help or suggestions? I tried to contact Anycubic's customer service but have not been able to load their webpage on multiple search engines.

Set up my printer and doing the test cube first. I leveled the print bed with the paper method in the videos. When I started the first print, the bed went down and then it make a grinding noise at the bottom. i quickly stopped it, and then I bumped up the z axis .1 mm and hit the button a couple of times.. then set that as the bottom point. I couldn't really take everything out to do the paper method again since I had resin in the vat and all. Will it be ok? Seems to be working now, but the plate isn't coming up high enough for me to see what's on the plate yet. How long does it usually take to print the cube?
