I always liked design of the Mirelurk from Fallout 4. The round shell it uses for protection and as cameo just looks really cool. When I found the ingame 3d model on Thingiverse I decided to fix it up a bit and print it as a monster for my collection. As I also found the ingame model from the mudcrab from Skyrim, I added one to his base. Named the Mirelurk Bob and the Mudcrab Eduardo, though I really have no idea why I did that. I’ve been playing around a bit with using 3d models from pc games for printing. Sadly I had to learn that most game models have an extremely low poly count, creating the look of a smooth surface mostly through skins. For some models, like this tiny Bombling from World of Warcraft, the blocky low poly surface looks fine, though.

I really like to add as much detail as possible to the bases of my tabletop minis and I love all the stuff I can print with my Photon to do just that. Found a cute bunny on Thingiverse and scaled him down to about 8mm. Printed at 0.05mm and the result is flawless. Love this printer so much :)
