If you have used the Anycubic Grey Resin, what is your opinion of it? (below is the reason for this question)

I am only asking as I have had nothing but problems with it so far. It seems softer in detail then the Green resin I have used previously. More brittle and when I cleaned the wing on a clock work dragon I had a chunk just break off of the one of the wing struts. I am printing it at 10s a layer and I am not sure if I am over curing it on the print. But I am trying to clean the supports off of it immediately after the print is done and the brittleness still happens.

Also when I printed the wings and torso there was some "warping". Now granted I did print the wings straight up instead of at an angle but the one of the wings printed perfectly (except for the piece that chunked off of the wing strut). The torso pieces that warped also were printed with the wings too, so the print bed was loaded up, so I am not sure if it was user error or resin.

This is why I am asking for your opinion on this resin. Also I am reprinting the torso by themselves as well as going to reprint the wings separately on the photon too with the steeper angle compared to straight up and down. I will post pictures of the wings when done, both the warped one and the one with chunk missing from it and then the reprints.

So if you wouldn't mind letting me know your opinion on the resin,I would appreciate it. Thank you.

One of the improvements over an FDM printer is being able to get properly transparent prints. This is a Hand of the King pin printed in Anycubic transparent with a coat of varnish. SD card for scale (coins are prettier but not everyone knows how big a UK coin is :-D )

Hey guys. :) I heard that the anycubuc is a really solid printer appart from the somewhat wobbely z achsis and weak led array and fan. Is there a way to change these things capable for a noob in electronics? (I own a prusa but that machine is like lego)

DEFINITIVELY, it is the brass nut, whose threads have been worn. Does anyone know where I can buy that nut? I find nuts, but the 4 fastening holes are not threaded

Hi guys really new to all this (I sculpt using green stuff at the moment) but fancied a go at 3D printing. I ordered my machine and it’s arriving next week, so my question is what else do I need and what should I read to help set it all up? Sorry I know that a noob question ?
