Hi everyone, just got my photon yesterday and due to it being late at night i didn't want to test print the lattice cube so I found something small and simple.

Print time was 34mins, using green sample resin.

Turned out great for the settings used, just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi,
has anyone tried polishing the FEP with microcrystalline wax (AKA Renaissance wax) to smooth it and minimize sticking?

Does someone have any good support settings for either the Photon Slicer or MeshMixer.

I mainly use my Photon for miniatures but recently the supports keep failing on me and I get warped prints, incomplete prints or no prints at all. I have experimented with multiple tilts, supports, settings but I haven't come close yet.

Can anyone share their secret with me? :)

Question about the Monocure Rapid Clear Resin. This is recommended by many. I already read that a couple of People report that they have good results generally by printing organic Structures (like Minis), but not so good results with technical structures.

I´m under the impression that Anycubic green transparent gives much better results printing technical structures then Monocure Rapid clear. Can anyone confirm that? In my Pics you see the same object and i habe much more problems with distorted areas with the Monocure then with the Anycubic Resin (Pic shows the Monocure Parameters, on Anycubic i used 8 sec exposure time)

What slicer are y'all using these days? The latest version of Anycubic's official one definitely improved support generation but I'm still not satisfied. (My last job took almost an hour to manually adjust supports so that cross-members weren't passing through the model, etc. Then I lost 20+ minutes of work to a Chinese error I couldn't read. :( )

I've previously tried using Meshmixer's support generation but wasn't super pleased with those results either.

I haven't had a chance to test my theory yet but in case any of you already have: UV bleed causing elephant foot on models due to longer exposure at initial layers. What if I just raise up the model on supports to get it past the "initial layer" zone? Say if longer exposure occurs on the first 10 layers, what if I made supports that lift the model 11 layers off the build plate?

Okay so this is the second time I've printed Themis and I'll just point out a few things quickly the straight horizontal lines you see or because I have the resin printer sitting next to a large filament printer which is running also and I think it's capturing some of that in the print. Now on to the pictures...
Basically I'm pointing out how find the detail is that you can print with a resin printer the parts of the scale that are holding the dishes are about as thin as a human hair and with just a bit of repositioning I could have printed the scales in their entirety however I will be making them a little thicker so that they will print more thoroughly. This took 16 hours to print.
