So I was set up to do my first ever resin print... or so I thought. When I select print, the next window just shows blanks with no files to print. When I put the memory stick in my PC the print files are there. This is the memory stick that came with it. Could the USB just be bad on the printer?

Does anyone know how to adjust the slicer settings so that automatic supports don't lift the print off the build plate? Often files have a flat edge such that it's easy to have it flush with the build plate, but the photon slicer doesn't seem to want that to happen.

Can someone explain the basics of layer height and exposure time (and whatever other tweaks affect prints), and imagine you are talking to the dumbest 3 year old you've ever met so that I might have a chance to understand........ Thank you and good luck........

I re-plugged the memory stick and could not resume the print.

Question about ambient temperature.

In your experience, How much does cooler (or warmer for that matter) effect the printing ability of the Anycubic Photon?

I’ve moved ours to the basement where the smell and potential chemical hazard art at a minimum. But the temperature stays around 60-63 degrees Fahrenheit.

I’ve only just started printing down here but have had a few failed prints. But haven’t chalked them all up to temperature issues yet. It’s in a room where I could run a small space heater to up the ambient temp a bit if needed.

And on the converse side, does heat have that much of an effect on the printing ability? Cure time?

Thanks for any and all constructive input and opinions.
