the more I use the Photon slicer, the more I realize it does a pretty poor job with supports. Is the new Chitu better? any other alternatives?

Anyone know the name of this particular bearing and bolt? I’ve got callipers to get the dimensions but when you put that into google the results vary so much. The bearings I’ve got down to something like u-groove track bearings but the bolt I am having trouble finding an exact one of. I’d imagine Anycubic used off the shelves parts and not some bespoke bearings and bolts. Thanks!

I am trying to find a solution to keeping my photon and the resin warm. It is currently in a garage that is "heated". Quotations because it doesn't stay very warm. Today it was 45-50 F in there. I'm debating about a little space heater like this.

Started printing the Forest Dragon from the Lost Dragon Kickstarter. I had to split the base from the body as I wanted to print at 100% scale and with a 4" base there was no way I was going to fit it in the print bed as is.

Question: Using the Anycubic Photon Slicer and it's generating a huge-ass base for my support which is getting stuck. The surface area of the base is huge making it a b*tch to get off because of suction force; I had to use needle nose pliers to chip it off last print. Any tips?

This is interesting and not sure what to make of it. The one on the left is sliced in ChiTubox and the one on the right is sliced in the photon slicer. Same resin, printed right after one another. Both at .050 and at 6 second layers.....but what a difference....
