So, how does cured resin (let's say, Anycubic green) hold up to higher temps? Would it break down, become brittle, or outgas at 80C?

Successfully printed a fairly detailed model in my new workshop at a room temp of ~50F.

is it any resin guide? Resin that is better or worse, resin that is more difficult to print (is for exemple solid or black resin harder?)

Ok first test print using a model sculpted for me.
Came out ok I think, needs a little work doing to sharpen some detail but I think this machine is awesome.
And he scales great with my metal range

Hi all, I use AnyCubic Grey - I have purchased 5 - 6 bottles in the last 6 months. The last three have all varied in shade with the most recent (open last night) being much lighter. Has anyone else noticed this. I only ask as the previous two bottles gave me a tough time printing which caused me to waste some resin dialing in settings. Trying to understand if the formula changes often. Thanks.

Evening, fellow tinkerers. Here's something for those whom would like to try an alternative base, but don't know how to make one or just simply feeling lazy (which is fine, by the way). Tested it today and it sure sticks to the build plate like gum to your clothes!

All you have to do is download the file, open with the slicer and scale it to fit the size of your print. Used a thickness of 0.5mm here, remember to turn off "lock ratio" as otherwise you'll end up having a teeny tiny grid.

When making supports: turn Raft setting to Null and change the Bottom's Shape to Cylinder and it's Radius to 1,00. Now you can either hit auto-support or manually add your own.

The printed grid is very flexible, which helps with cutting off the supports...plus you'll end up having this pretty neat hexagon grid to use with your miniature projects ?

Uneven bottom as well as beginning of the tail being a bit thinner most likely caused by uneven bottom.
When I removed the model, the platform support wasn't completely stuck to the plate, instead part of it was hanging (the sides that are a bit raised in the picture)
Would increasing bottom exposure time fix this?
The alien was printed at 120s bottom exposure time. I have since then changed to 180s and some newer prints still have edges of the platform hanging, which basically ruins many prints.
So I guess I should go higher? 300s for "heavier" models?
Or do I need to do something else?

Came off the printer last night. Turned out really great. As usual I over supported it so there is some extra post processing I have to do, but I’m happy over all. Glopped a little too much resin on his feet, but when I do the base it’ll get covered up.

Also this was my first attempt at using the drain holes you guys suggested and it worked so much better than my previous attempts.
