Got my printer coming today! I haven't ordered any extra resin until I make sure everything is working. Other than price is there any reason not to carry on with the clear green that it comes with if I'm going to be priming my prints?

Ok after 30 Printer i have the first saying LCD error when trying testprint .LCD Test doesent work .I am not sure if trying to fix or just send back( The Mac Gyver in me want to screw )

Hello everybody! Yesterday I got my first 3D printer, the Anycubic Photon! I must admit that at first I was a bit afraid about how would it perform and if I would be able to print without some of the frustrating issues seen here and at many other web pages. Maybe that’s the problem (or not) of reading too much... ? So I would like to thank you all for sharing your experience, tips and advices which turn out really helpful for me. A big thanks!
I managed to set up, level and test the printer with the included green resin. After 3 hours and a half my VAT finally rised with my very firts print, as said, hollowed, positioned and cured following many advices from here ??
I’m very happy with the results, I still have to cure it, clean supports and post process it, will quite probably add a prime coat, but wanted to share here the raw print at this point. Thanks everybody again!!

Whenever I print something, the part of the print that is facing the (EDIT:) printbed gets warped. Anyone have any idea why this is? Is it my exposure time? This one is printed on 0.035 with an exposure time of 14 seconds.

UPDATE: It seems to be due to the resin gone bad. Tried to print with aqua blue and that worked ok.

Today feels like the first day of summer where I live in Australia, temps exceeding 36C (97ish F). I've heard excessive heat can cause serious problems with the LCD, such as huge dead spots which obviously are a major headache to deal with.

So my question is; is there a temperature at which you won't run a print in order to avoid these problems? What is it?

Why am I now getting missing section of print and the FEP has a thin layer of resin stuck to it?

Guys, I have a fast question.

I changed the exposure time of couple of layers in my photon file but it printed same
as main exposure. So the question is - does the printer OS take layer exposure from the header of .photon file?

Never tried but thought about making dynamic layer height also. Could be a bit tricky to slice though
