I'm having an issue where the Photon only can see files on the USB drive included with the system. I tried multiple USB jump drives formatted with Fat32 and NTFS. Has anyone else had this issue?

First time printed on the photon was a failure after following leveling instructions from the manual I ended up only the bottom layer was printed. These pictures were my second and third times printing. I followed the leveling instructions from the video in this group. But somehow the bottom layer not sticking flat. However the prints were done okay. Wonder what when wrong? I used resin anycubic gray setting from the spreadsheet increase the bottom exposure to 120. Thank you.

EDIT: It's a USB stick failure. If you haven't already, set that cheap USB stick the printer ships with on fire, and buy a good one.

I ran into an interesting print failure today... the printer itself seems to be butchering my .photon files.

After a failure earlier yesterday, I inspected the sliced file to make sure everything looked fine - and scrolling through the layers on my PC, no problem. File size was 48 mb.

The print started fine, but failed completely after about 1cm - and we're not talking about a support failure or anything similar because the entire print just sheared at that point, nor an LCD failure, because there was resin cured on the FEP, just not where it was supposed to be.

So I inspected the .photon file again on my PC... first thing to note, it's now 47mb instead of 48. Then, scrolling through the layers... well, see for yourself.

Has anyone encountered this? I had a similar failure the day before, where a ~40mb print failed halfway through, baked a solid display-sized rectangle of resin onto the FEP... and the .photon file was a mere 400kb on the USB stick after the print.

I'm thinking it's a Firmware problem, but if there's another culprit, let me know :)

hey there, this is my 1st post here and I am hoping you can help. So I can print fine with the included green resin. But I have an orange resin now from anycubic and I can't seem to get a decent print. Does anyone have the settings for slicer for this resin? This what I have right now

Hi everyone. My first post on here and I thought I'd share my print. Printed with Anycubic green with a light prime bringing out the detail. Only had my printer a few days and I'm very impressed so far. Still learning and testing but all good. I printed the same model on my FDM last year shown also for reference. I plan to paint up properly soon ?

Ran into a weird fail last night.. the one on the left didn't finish because I stopped the print ??‍♂️ but the one on the right is the exact same model, wich I coppied within the slicer. Supports done in B9. 0.05 12 8 50 as settings

Why did 1 succeed and the other fail?

Hope someone can help me out ?

Tried searching in here and online but didnt see much about it before I asked. My UV screen appears to be dead, I have maybe 150 hours usage on it. Just curious to see how long others have gone before they had issues with the UV and had to replace it? I came home yesterday to half a print on the build plate, turned off printer and did the uv test with good results, the full screen worked. Set another print to go and have nothing that printed. I didnt get a chance go check but I assume my UV lamp needs replacing. Is there a decent place in Canada or the US to order the replacement from? Looking for suggestions, thanks!
