Hey, photonites, I am looking for a walkthrough for printing dnd minis.

From from adding supports to exposure settings, mostly.

But i would also love anyguidance on sculpting 3d specifically for printing in mind? Anyone come across something like this? Thanks in advance.

Printed 3 small batches on my new Photon and I’m blown away by the silly nonsense I can do with this machine. I’ve never even been able to print the grey mini before because of the hair being so thin ?

If anyone has any ideas about why the back of the head looks horrible, I’d appreciate suggestions about how to fix that. I printed the mini at an angle with the back of the head facing the build plate. I’m assuming I should have added more supports or something, but I’ve also read the build plate side of models usually have less resolution, but I’m not sure how much less is to be expected from that. the base also failed slightly in the same sort of area. There’s also some weird lines in the head but I’m more concerned with pieces of the model failing at the moment ?

I’m starting to think that the monocure clear resin is going to take some fine tuning settings wise. This mini has been giving me the most trouble ever.

After a weeks trying to make good parts and doubt about cure time and all settings in Slicer program, finally I stop to "see" Photon working.
The nut have a very big clearance. When it go UP the weight of carry take the clearance out, but when it go DOWN the carry makes some hard moves.

It´s all tite, but the nut is so cheap that make me very angry about it quality.

Any help?

Hey guys, I’ve been looking for some 3D models for my DnD game(s) and I’m having some trouble finding ones I really like. I support Mz4250 on Patreon, but I’d like to find some better models for some of the more humanoid creatures like giants. What sites would you recommend? I’m willing to pay for good 3D files so I’m open to various sources.
