I'm about to try printing with Monocure's flexible resin. I'm wanting to mix it with Monocure rapid clear to get a semi-hard flexible finish, similar to what you get from pre-painted D&D minis. My settings for rapid clear 0.02mm, 14s, 6.5s, 85s, 4s. What would people suggest my % mix be (maybe around 15%?), and what settings would you recommend?

What sort of container does everyone use to cure things in alcohol? Edit... Follow up question. How many Prince can you wash in one thing of alcohol before changing the alcohol?

Hi guys,

I've purchased Photon a week ago and after customs clearance it arrived just today. It will be first time with this type of printer also first time i will deal with resin.

I opened the box. Every additional parts seemed ok except the printer. First i realised some sticky surface on the side of the printer door. Then when i tried to remove vat tank i realised it is sticky between fep surface and lcd screen below. I carefully removed the vat tank and it seems some resin leaked over all over the red surface (on the corners, on sides of fan). The 250g example resin is clean so i believe it is either a used one or occured after test if they are doing any.
I don't know if the printer will work or not. I don't know if it is a "don't worry it is easy to fix" problem or a bad one:(

Please help me about what should i do now.
I have read and noted about tons of problems from this group and reddit since i made my order. I didn't expect to experience such hard situation from the first step. I don't know what to do.

So firstly thank you for all those that helped me with my problem (carriage hitting the VAT). I returned that machine and got a second. This one leveled perfectly no hitting.

So after the test cube, I printed my first models using the green resin which will be used as fluff pieces for a multi part space ship (which i plan to print in Monocure3D grey to avoid shrinkage problems).

I used flash forge, I added a raft manually with fusion360 to help it stick as the first one didn't. I think the supports were too heavy and I'll give it another go (while i have the green resin left) with different combinations of lighter supports and a few Manuel heavier ones.

just a question the bottom layers ar uneven and it is only the the bottom layers the print itself is nothing wrong with.
what can it be and and how can I fix it

Looking to get the photon soon but I'm seeing two designs one on Amazon with an upgraded yellow screen and one on aliexpress with a blue screen. What's the difference?
