Dear long(er) time DLP Users:
When to clip supports? Before or after curing with UV light?

Today a model snaped on me (post- curing) since the resin was too brittle, some surfaces to thin. I reworked some areas and reprinted. Done in 5 minutes.

Now I need to know whether its better to clip while the resin is still kinda soft, or after the curing process solely?

Has anyone been tracking the price of Nova3D resin on amazon? Ive been printing with it and bought some for 56 dollars a a liter about a month ago (kicking myself for not stocking up on it). It looks like it has jumped in price. Im curious if they but it on sale often or if they have just raised the price for good.

Hey there, i‘m wondering if anyone would print me something with a Photon.
Preferably someone in europe.

I have a model that i need printed which is really small and FDM machines struggle to get the details right.

I am contemplating investing in an Anycubic Photon. I already have a Creative CR-10S which is very good as far as it goes, but I need higher quality. I make reproduction vintage radio knobs and the CR-10S is acceptable but not perfect enough. Would somebody be willing to make me some samples from an stl file, I will happily pay for the time and shipping etc. I don't want to spend another £500 and find out the Anycubic doesn't do what i need. The knobs are quite small, max 20mm X 30mm. I am in London/Surrey UK. Photo attached.

what can be the reason behind this failed print? looks like only one foot managed to get printed then stopped and started halfway throu, exept for supports, that have been printed

Doh im guessing this is s combination of auto supports not generating for left foot and user error for not spotting the mistake. What do you guys think?

Good morning, I received the photon Monday and I must say that for the price I paid for, I like it. I would like to know if you can give me some advice on how to remove the supports without holes or marks. Thank you.

Having Issues with the Druckwege Resin - Typ D Pro

Support Sticks to the bed but the object not to the support.

I was using a lot of medium and some heavy support. I already printed this model with anycubic resin and light support without problems.

Layer 0.05 - Offtime 6.5

Try one:
Exposure 14s / Bottom 60(10Layer)
Try two:
Exposure 20s / Bottom 90 (10Layer)

Just thought I'd share... it wasn't print with photon but shapeways.com ... I haven't found a local caster to cast my zbrush creations.. but soon... and also waiting on FTD Castable to restock...
