Right out of the box tested the free hero forge characters right after leveling. The Knight didn’t print the shield or sword (maybe bad support placement?) but the other printed nicely even though I was a bit to aggressive removing the supports and broke her arm off. Overall very pleased and excited to try more.

Just got a delivery... will I have Z Wobble on the new machine? We’ll find out in a few hours after assembly and a test print...

For what it’s worth I now have blue, yellow and red windows... lol.

Very impressed with the photon so far . Casted this in silver with the factory resin while I’m waiting for casting resin .. ( still needs to be polished but details are ? )

It’s always something.

So I make 3 prints of my model to get the best results. Then I sand fill and file it to perfection and finally I am ready to pour silicone.

Now mind you I have made hundreds of silicone molds in my life and the vast majority come out perfect. But thus time the (4 hour ) silicone is still sticky and it’s beef 16 hours.

Don’t know if it was the new measuring cups or my fault but my model it’s trapped at the bottom of a sticky jello like goop... now do I dig it out and clean it up or cut my loses and print a new one?

hey guys

so I want to print a chess set and I'm looking to maintain the clear finish, I hear the Rustoleum clear coat is good but my question is do I still do my IPA bath and wash and cure before I apply it, or do I just IPA and clear coat then cure what's the process
