Tons of sales for Cyber Monday. Solutech has an 8 filament bundle for $106, and Sovol has their 2 roll bundle for $19.43. (I ordered another one). Tons of 3D Printers on sale like the Sovol 3D SV01, Longer 3D Orange 30, Anycubic Chiron, Artillery Sidewinder X1, Elegoo Mars and even the Photon S.

ELEGOO sent over some of their water soluble resin for me to try. I really like the gray color. What makes this really nice, is some soapy water can be added to my ultrasonic cleaner, and then run, and that cleans off the resin. It looks great after that. I then run it under running water to get the soap off. It seems to be just as clean as after I run regular resins through IPA in my ultrasonic cleaner

It's a little more brittle than I prefer. I really like their blue and the Siraya Tech gray that I have used for miniatures. They have a little more give, and don't pit the surface as bad. It just cures hard. I did find staves and more delicate pieces have some give, an don't just snap, so that is good.

You can see that it prints and cleans up very well.

The Photonsters.org movement began as an offshoot of the platform that the Anycubic Photon presented. It was an open, inviting platform that allowed for innovation based on a fairly inexpensive resin printer design. With the Release of the Photon - S, Anycubic left the entire Photon classic behind using new hardware that was incompatible with all of the innovation done by Photonsters and others in this group. We’ve seen a number of other innovative designs come in to pick up where the Photon - S failed with the Epax X1 filling in all of the checkboxes for what the Photon - S should have been.
Without any announcement, Anycubic has now changed the Photon Classic to use their proprietary motherboard, making even the classic incompatible with the open Photonsters movement. We understand companies must innovate and change, but making changes like this without plenty of time for the community to know, and drastically changing the design specs of a printer without telling the community is a poor way to support your community.
Because of this, we are changing the Anycubic Support Group into something more inclusive. While we have never excluded other printers, and in fact have embraced other printers in the past, we are now reflecting that in our name. Instead of declaring we are an Anycubic Photon group, we are going to be a Resin Printer Owner’s group. The name will change, but in reality, nothing else will. We will continue to help others. We will continue to support Photon Classics and any other resin printers that we can as a community. We will continue to be as inclusive as possible.

Elegoo sent me a box of their disposable vats. I'm looking forward to testing them out on the Photon and other resin printers I own. My quick view on them, is that they look exceedingly convenient. Being able to have multiple colors ready to go and not having to drain resin out of a vat to change colors is going to be VERY handy. The FEP is already installed and ready to go. Just put it in (well, and pull the FEP protector off). Now, I need to figure out something good for storing these on my printer rack.

Edit: These should be available on Amazon in early October.

Added a few more shots. Including how it fits on an Anycubic Photon and how it DOESN'T fit on an Orange 10. 翻譯年糕

If you are looking for some great miniatures to print on your Photon, there are a ton of active Kickstarters going on right now. There is also one that has a couple of statues you can print.
