hi guys, I've been concerning if the resin in VAT enough to print my model fully or how many times should i replenish during the whole process...

so I've done some measurements & made a simple excel sheet to calculate the estimated resin weight needed to print a particular model.

attached a Athena model i use to test my calculation & the estimation is almost spot on.
feel free to use the excel sheet & modify it to your advantage.

*the Photon File Validator is an amazing piece of tool & it has an volume estimation in milliliter, please download it if you prefer in that unit.

*each resin's brand or even different colors in the same brand might have different density, please use this excel sheet with caution.
you can calculate your own resin density by weighing the final printout & counter-check the STL's volume

*your can use MeshMixer to calculate the STL volume.
do remember to export the whole STL with all the supports or raft from your slicer, else your result will not even come close.

Is anyone using Nova3D Clear Blue successfully? I'm trying to dial in the settings, but struggling so far. I've tried .02/8/4-60/16 and .02/10/6-60/16, but my supports continue to fail and the detail in the mini is lost. Before I run another 7 hour print I thought I would check to see if you have thoughts. Thanks!

I have problem after windows 10 update, stl file not loaded on the slicer Anycubic, only old file .photon is load. Any person whit this problem?

In need of help guys. Replacing my screen and no light seems to he getting through the lcd. Do I need to remove this reflective sheet from the back? This is my second attempt as I snapped the ribbon cable when I tried last week. So I don't wanna damage this one.

looking for some help here. got the Photon 2 weeks ago and made some nice prints , prolly about 12 until suddenly I began having issues with some of the print sticking to the tray. the first layer and most of the supports print fine but I've had now multiple failed prints with the build plate having the raft and supports and the tray having layers also stuck on the bottom.

I've changed resin
re leveled a few times
tightened FEP
replaced FEP

and I'm not sure what else I could do
baffled that my first dozen prints were flawless
and now I get failed prints constantly

any and all help appreciated here

Wondering if anyone has some advice. I was getting z - banding on my prints at maybe 10 mm intervals so I followed the video and made the adjustments however now I seem to be getting lines at about 1mm intervals and the prints look a bit like FDM prints now. Also it seems to make a dull but quiet knocking noise when the printing plate goes up and down out the vat when printing. What should I adjust?
(Noticed also that the brass disc on my carraige differs from the one in the video as it only has two holes round the centre)
