Hi guys. A bit off topic but I saw a person opened up a shop in my country selling 3D printed (FDM) things from thingieverse. My question is... Is this legal?

I was just told the reason I have perfectly patterned banding, with bands the width of the Z Axis screw threads consistently across all my prints... is because my FEP isn't tight enough.

Mind you the FEP is as tight as a drum, and sounds like a snare drum without the springs.

Also, if the FEP was loose, the problem would be on every layer, or random layers... not a perfect pattern the width of the Z Axis threads.

Last of all, if it was simply the FEP being loose, why did the severity of the banding change when I adjusted the carriage, and again when I loosened the Z Axis Stepper Motor mounting screws?

Am I going insane or am I just a lot dumber than I thought?

...mumbling "FEP is loose, are you F'ing kidding me?"...

Off-time question. My resin, leveling and settings are working perfectly on small models (minis, etc). But nearly 100% fail with same settings for large, thick models (building sections), with parts often coming out very warped.

I’m thinking this is maybe an expansion issue, either from curing or waste heat, and maybe solvable by a long off time between layers. Does this seem logical, or other suggestions?

(Bucktown clear@ .04/12s layers (have also done 10s), 1s off 50s/10 base (have also tried 150s base and 6&8 layers. Trying to work toward a lower cure thick base and longer cure layers to address the expansion issue)

Hey guys!

My minis are getting stuck to the build plate, the bottom exposure time is 50s, is that too long? Should I angle them and support the base instead of having such a large surface area on the plate?

It sucks because the amount of force necessary requires I level the plate after each print! Help me obi-wan!

Here is my setup. Finally coming together. There is room in there for me to put a second machine. Time to print with no smell :D

Does anyone have experience with Photocentric DLP Resins? Especially the various tensile/flexible versions?

Hi Everyone, glad to be part of the Anycubic owners group. I've been building and printing in the FDM world for a few years now. I just received my Anycubic Photon today and did the test print. I'm hoping someone can help me with why it failed? It looks like part of it stuck to the FEP film, which I carefully scraped away. Otherwise it looks great and the lattice cube itself came out very well. Thanks in advance.

Am I doing it right? Haven't built the enclosure yet. Going to make one large enough to fit two in it.
