I'm having trouble with a print... not the printer, it is my orientation and supports. This is the second print failure not (other files print fine). First failure nothing stuck to the plate. I changed orientation and it is printing, but I can see the trigger guard is a complete failure.

I printed the back half fine, the front piece is where I am having trouble...

Printed this at 0.025 with the sample resin. Model was printed with the default scale. Printed with flat with support on the back. Minor sanding only done on the support. About 3 layer of light priming. Black one is prime with Gw black primer n the white one is prime with Mr hobby white primer. Pretty happy with the print so far.

As someone coming from FDM printers and with my Photon on the way; I started looking into videos and whatnot for the Photon and am starting with the ones linked in the sticky.

Hey guys! Over the weekend I designed this hand painting tool / holder for small models. The posts are removable and you just double sided tape the model to the top and then you have something to hold while you paint the model and drop it back into the stand to let dry. If anyone wants the stl for this let me know and I’ll post a DL link.

Need some help folks... my Z-Rod motor died. Tech support was all over it and sent me a replacement motor. I successfully removed the old one (shown on the left) with minor cursing. However, now that I'm looking at the new one, I can see that it has a different mount to it. Anyone have one like this? Is it better or should I move the plate from the older one and affix it to the new one for added stability? Not sure what the mechanical difference is between the two...
