I was hoping to have fixed my z-wobble... but didn't succeed. I may have made the problem worse. I love this machine. I hate this machine. Anyone have any other ideas as to what is causing this problem? I've printed this file before with some minor banding but nothing like this, so in general, it works. The model is hollow. I rejiggered the supports and added in a bunch inside, just in case. I have another test running now. Thoughts?

Reassembled the machine yet again after a tear down... this time to fix the dreaded Z wobble. I ought to get a AnyCubic pit crew jacket now since I've become quite practiced at it. Here's hoping to a successful, z wobble free print! Fingers crossed....

Need some help. When I took out this 15hr print, I noticed that it looks like at some point, the entire model shifted a bit, but kept printing. It was tight on the plate when I took it out and I didn't see anything immediately wrong. Everything else turned out ok... any thoughts on what might have caused this. The print was angled and the shift is along a nice flat line, despite what the pictures appear to show.
The arrows show the shift lines. On the first picture, the arrow in the upper left corner showed how the supports shifted as well. Not sure what happened... no pausing, no stopping, no power loss, (that I know of)..

It's alive! (and now has a brother). So I re-attached everything, leveled it, changed the FEP, cleaned it down and after an awful squealing, re-lubed the rod. (Think I would have learned that in high school... Ba Dump-Dump-Cha) It's running through its cube print now, but I can see the lattice work and it's turning out just fine! For the moment... everything is plugging along swimmingly.

So after just over two and a half months of the printer being down, I may have finally resolved everything. Tech support has been great, but the biggest issue has been waiting for parts in the mail. Waiting for "5-6 days" generally became "2-3 weeks" per part. I've replaced the motor, the motherboard and the display cable (and I immensely dislike working on the inside of the machine... fat fingers, clutz, I dunno.) I'll reassemble the beastie tomorrow because there is not enough beer in my house to get me through that process. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day. :-) Thanks to everyone who attempted to help me get the machine back up and running!

At this rate, I'm going to be a certified as a tech support representative... so the latest minor setback is resin somehow leaked to the dead center of my glass screen under the vat. So looking through the page, I'm going to 1) start with a IPA soaked rag on the screen overnight. Then 2) I'll move to trying to gently scrape it off without cracking something. Failing that, 3) I'll tear down the machine (again), pull the glass and soak it in the IPA. Anything that I am missing?

Flint Read , Chad Elstad . I could not add this video to the other post for some reason. As I was saying in the other post, the brass mount appears to be fine... at least the one in the arm bracket has been working for the month or so I was able to use the printer. This video should hopefully show you the problem.

Need some help folks... my Z-Rod motor died. Tech support was all over it and sent me a replacement motor. I successfully removed the old one (shown on the left) with minor cursing. However, now that I'm looking at the new one, I can see that it has a different mount to it. Anyone have one like this? Is it better or should I move the plate from the older one and affix it to the new one for added stability? Not sure what the mechanical difference is between the two...

Well crap. After a month of solid printing, the machine died on me. I set up a print job this morning and came home to find the build plate sitting in the resin tray. (Didn't fall or anything). The Z-Rod is no longer moving. The motor makes a deep hum, but nothing happened. I tried to lift it using the tool menu option, but to no avail. The resin had not cured and nothing was stuck in the vat... the motor just was not motoring. :-( I submitted my tech support ticket... any idea how long it might take to get an answer?

Having probably the same issues as everyone else... printer stopped printing. After six successful prints, using the translucent green resin that came with the printer, default settings, items are sticking to the FEP, but that's about it. (can see the outline of the supports in the resin, but it stops there.) Tried re-leveling (Flint way) and still not working.
I stripped down the machine, cleaned the vat, build plate, checked the LED, strained the translucent green resin, refilled vat, tried to print on default settings that have previous worked, and same issue. Did the same thing referring to the excel sheet online, upping the exposure rates by five, and still nothing.
Finally, re-cleaned everything, leveled using Anycubic instructions, changed resin to Anycubic translucent yellow (no excel reference), added a raft under the print, and still no success.
Thoughts?
