Hey, so update to my problem with there being a thin layer of cured resin at the bottom of the vat. I tried a dry run and it seems like there’s a bit of a glow to the entire lcd surface. Does this mean the lcd is defective and needs to be replaced?

Hey has anyone received a printer from Anycubic official EU stock via ebay in the last few days?

I ordered mine last Saturday and expect to get it Monday. They have just updated the listing to show the V3 with orange windows. Hoping this is what Iv been sent, or at least the V2 with the good power supply.

I may consider returning it in order to get sent a V3, has anyone actually had any trouble with external UV though?

Z WOBBLE UPDATE:

Photon Wars: Ep 6 - The Return of the Wobble...

So lastnight, thinking I had the majority of the Z Wobble handled, and things were looking up, I decided to print this Harley Quinn file I'd been saving for a while. Using Monocure Rapid White w/settings: .05/12/1/70/8 it took about 10 hours.

So today I pulled the print off and at first glance things looked good... then I saw the weird hole in the supports. Not sure why that's happening now, has never happened to me before. Looks like part of the supports are missing and melty... has happened on my last two prints.

Then I pulled it off the supports, cured it and saw there is STILL Z Wobble in it! Not as bad as my first Elven Huntress I've shared, but there is some...

So I took it to the garage to prime it real quick so I could show you all and I dropped it... and it shattered like glass into a million pieces. Like crushed glass... not even a piece big enough to show the banding...

So now I'm sorta pissed... more wasted time, more wasted resin, and more hassle. So now the next time I feel like looking at the damned Photon, I'll clean it up, strip it down and make another adjustment to those two screws and try again.

Thinking my next step might be to throw the F'ing thing in the damned dumpster....

Sorry, feeling pretty defeated right now. Maybe loosening them a full turn instead of just a half may do it? Who knows...

Just doing first test print machine seems to be raiseing up the down then the circle comes up on screen is this ok ?

Print came out awesome but the lines on this head is it from pausing it cause I did it a few times it's only a test print and recommendations on what's causing it ? could it be the orientation of it i printed it flat? need help guys pls

Added some boot polish to try making my model look a bit worn and to make all the lines stand out. Managed to drop him and scuff the head a little so now it’s also got some battle damage ? ?
