any suggestions on maintaining scale ? The z axis is fine, but the x and y seem reduced by 50 per cent. I tried printing parts for my brahma microphone.

Tried printing with Anycubic Gray again today. Printed with the settings that others have used (with a 90 second bottom layers). It stuck and it did great. All the pieces had all the supports attached to them and none had any flaws. Also supports seemed cleaner disconnecting from the model compared to my previous resin.

My previous resin was 3D Okay white. I may be speaking a little early here...but I think I am done with 3D Okay resin (even though I have had a lot of success with them...but quite a few failures when it comes to supports and random defects though the model). I believe my go to right now is going to be Anycubic brand...Now if they could only make the smell a lot less than what it is lol.

Time to stock up!

So anyone following the Z Wobble Chronicles with me... here's tonight's chapter... "Photon Wars: A New Hope"

I've done the Anycubic Z Wobble fix video twice, and while I see a different severity of banding in the prints... banding remains nonetheless.

I contacted Anycubic support (Amy) and also saw Chris' fix for loosening the two screws that hold the Z motor. After opening up the machine for no reason, I found the two screws in question, backed them off 1/2 a turn each, and loaded the vat and fired up a test print. I was meticulous and precise in making sure I backed off each screw exactly 180 degrees from where they were.

Going on record now that I am VERY concerned with the amount of movement of the Z Screw, the carriage and the build plate. Everything looks so loose and janky I have no idea how this is going to give me a better print.... guess we'll see in a few hours.

We'll compare some before and after photos of the same print in tomorrow's episode of "Photon Wars: The Wobble Strikes Back"
