For those of you that have added the Turbo sucker 9000 (VIVOSUN 4 Inch 190 CFM Inline Duct Ventilation Fan with Variable Speed ) to the side/back of the Photon, did you leave the fan/charcoal filter in place, or remove it, for better exhausting of the fumes? What about the charcoal filter itself?

My vent fan arrives Thursday and just looking for the best solution from the machine to the exhaust the most out of the vent. I already printed the 4" adapter for the rear panel.

Got a new lcd screen delivered today to solve the half rectangle problem with the uv test, fitted the lcd and tried a test print, after about an hour I realised that their was nothing on the
Build plate so I stopped the print. When I drained the resin ftom the tray I found a thin peace of cured resin, I assumed that the build plate wasn’t going down enough to attach to the model so I levelled again with a pice of paper, lowering the build plate until the paper was quite tight, I ran another print and once again got nothing, can someone please tell me where I’m going wrong, I assume the screen I got from Anycubic already had the back light removed or did it ? Just wondering.

Anyone know why in the AnyCubic slicer, as soon as you go to supports, it raises your damn object, even if you want it ON THE PLATE, and selected that while placing it?
What kind of insanity is that?

Hi all. Glad to be a part of this group. I will soon be purchasing an Anycubic Photon, and I had a question that I haven't been able to find an answer for.

How is printing with resin and DLP affected by temperature, if at all? I had considered setting it up in an area of the house that is not climate controlled, but will being in heat or cold cause prints to be difficult or impossible?

Getting up to speed on Meshmixer and B9. Orient and hollow model in Meshmixer. Used 50% autosupports in B9 and added a few custom. Does this look about right? Too many, too little?

My buddy Matt Peadon gave me this "Rook" for 3D printing. I added a base and made some small modifications to make it fit better on it. Printed in Monocure Rapid Grey. It's about 40mm tall.
