Hey thanks for the add.
I have 2 Tarantulas and one hypercube 300
And I ordered the Photon few hours ago after some research so I have a few questions.

1.
Do you estimate a resin price drop in the near future?

2. I couldn't find any info on resin types like max temperature if I want something to withstand 70c ambiant temp, and also are there any flexible resins?

3. Can you buy an additional tray with some sort of a protection while it's out in case I want to switch between 2 types?

4. What's the cheapest source for resin these days? I bought 2 litters of wanhao resin locally for 61$ USD per litter

Also if you have any maintenance tips or anything else for a beginner I would love to have some info.

A few questions:

Best software for adding supports? The supplied software does a pretty decent job for D&D minis but I can't seem to add individual supports where needed.

Where to buy more FEP film in the UK?

Best resin for D&D minis, the supplied resin seems great, hoping for under £80/litre delivered in UK with similar results to the supplied resin.

BEHOLD!!!! YOU CAN NOW MODIFY YOUR PHOTON.
The Photon's configuration gcode file. Fully translated and cleaned up, I have improved the descriptions and added some simplified instructions. along whit removing some unnecessary sections

Modifying this file will allow you to do any of the following...
Change steps per mm (allowing you to change the lead screw)
Change max Z (allowing you to extend the build volume)
Change peel settings, including distance, speed, rapids and dwell.

Lots more you can do but those are the highlights.

You can update your configuration by copying Configuration.gcode to a flash drive, selecting the file on your photon's browser and telling it to "print". That will load the file and update your settings.

The settings in this file are the DEFAULT settings and will lot alter your machine in any way until you change the values and load it.

My machine is currently running from this file so I have tested it competently.

To correctly open this file and save changes in the correct format use Notepad++
