Is anyone here using Google SketchUp to create models that knows the program well? The reason I ask is i've built quite a few models with it now and the issue I'm having is that on long curves surfaces I'm getting what I'll call a resolution problem where the circle isn't quite circle. I've attached a picture showing the problem. This was printed at 0.02mm just to be sure it wasn't the printer. Any thoughts? I don't wanna learn a new program if I don't have to.

I've got my printer a couple of days ago and after some failures I've finally got around to not making dumb mistakes... now that being said I'm almost out of resin and need to purchase some.
I'm printing stuff at high res, going for 0.02 on anycubic green, and was wondering if anyone has gone for 0.01? if so which resin did you use and what settings?

I'm printing miniature bases I've sculpted and I need these to be as smooth and clean of print lines as possible, without much sanding required.

Do you guys know if there are resins that can handle up to 100 degrees celcius? I'd like to print some engine bay brackets, but I'm not sure if the parts will deform. I did see Formlabs has a high temperature resin, but it's very expensive, and I don't know if it will work on the Photon. Any experiences are appreciated.

News from FTD resins this morning

FunToDo resin production and development

FTD are pleased to inform all customers that the recent challenges with some of the raw materials are starting to stabilize with production settling down, however to reduce this possible issue happening again the range of resins are getting a re-mastering including improved performance. The new formulated resins are undergoing testing as we talk and when released will be labeled to show they are the new version, and in some cases a minor exposure adjustment may be required.

Hi All,

Just got my own printer 2 days ago.
Sharing my experience so far.

My first print failed (Anycubic Cube), bed not leveled. (and forgot to agitate the bottle)

Second print successful! But I broke after playing with it in the office, it because it wasn't cured well I think.

Here is my third batch of prints. (2nd successful)

Everything is different coming from FDM (Flashforge Creator Pro),
I think the Anycubic Photon is a great printer for its price!

Just safety first!
Took me a while to manage the smell :)

Testing the Monocure Rapid Grey. The rook and the carp ring came out absolutely fabulous, the tiniest details are amazing, and is just so much quicker than FTD Snow White. Using Philippe Maegerman 's settings from the sheet with bottoms at 60s, 5 bottom layers, 8 seconds layers with 1 second in between. This feels more Poly Carbonate like to the touch, like the Anycubic green, while the Snow White is more ABS like to touch.

This may be my new go-to resin.
