Finally managed to find sometime to print these guys out... still got to do Sandy and Monkey.

Mine arrived, now to find a place for it..... (5 bedroom house, single occupant, no place....) Too many hobbies and not enough "smell doesnt matter" place.

Question though. Most FDM printers support remote monitoring of the printer via a serial port/Octopi connection. Am I correct in assuming the Photon doesnt support this in any way ?

If so, Ill probably just set up an IP cam to do the monitoring for me.

Experimenting with photon and reenactment pistol (Bodeo 1889 cylinder and bullets). The Golden bullet in the second picture is an early version, the engravings were quite inconsistent.

My first test print came out awesome and I'm really impressed. I bought a new power brick, since there were so many complaints about the stock one, downloaded the test cube from the group link onto a trusted USB, since the file on the supplied stick was corrupted. Used the Flint Reed leveling technique.
The smell was not that bad. I set up the printer in my laundry room and used a window fan to vent the room. Cleanup was also not as messy as I'd envisioned. Filtering the resin back into the bottle and making sure the FEP was wiped clean were the most time consuming aspects.

Not finished yet. Need some Anycubic Green for the tail globe, but hey, not bad for this scale. It's amazing how well it prints very thin rods!

I didnt get a picture of the finished product as I was running late for the party. But I printed a elephant with my buddy's daughter's name on it.
