Anycubic Photon Printer Owners 造訪社團

Just ordered my first Photon and waiting for it to arrive. I have a couple of questions I have been unable to find answers to:

1. As a noob, what would be a good amount of resin to order for "testing" prints with? Is there an average amount of resin most people go through before they start to get the hang of setting up successful prints.

2. The computer software advises the approximate print time for the sliced model to be printed. Does the software, or is there a way to figure the approximate volume of resin required to complete the print of the model?

Thanks for any advice you can provide:)

hello guys I've some questions !
This is my first 3D printer and I don't really know where to start !
I've seen some video about supports but I don't know where to put them. Can you recommand a good video explaining that.
I'm trying to print that motorcycle I've scanned a while ago.
Do you think it's doable with this printer ?
Thx you in advance for your feedbacks

Is it possible to print things with moving parts in a single print? Say a wheel on a axle? Or do you need to print the parts seperate and then assemble? Thanks, getting my photon today!!!!! Can't friken wait.

Any suggestion? I use anycubic white with 0.05 layer 7.0 exposure 10 bottom layer 70 bottom exposure support by anycubic slicer 35 % density. Platform and manual put light support to island.

I thought I would pass this along, Charlie was running a theory past the Monocure 3D Users Group ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/monocure3d/permalink/184982172156851/ ). The D7 owners don't complain about the smell from the Monocure resin as much as Photon owners do. His theory, is the fan in the printing compartment causes the fumes to dispense further. In the thread, at least one person commented they unplugged the fan, and that reduced the smell immensely. I thought I would bring this to the attention of everyone here, and see if anyone has tested this.
