Hello,

I have received my 3d printer last week and i have managed to make a couple of prints.
Today when i try to make a print in the exact moment when the build plate reached the home point it made a (beep) sound and it shutdown and then it never power on again.
When i press the power button the only thing that happens is a red LED that lights up. Does anyone encounter such a problem. I think that a possible reason for that could be the main board.

Thank you,

Hi
I wanted some advice and share the problem that happens with the prints and understand if someone else happened.
Usually I try to print small mechanical parts, I bought the printer a few months ago but I could not get qualitative prints as it was too cold and the resin was too viscous (I have the printer in the basement), With the spring season and the 'arrival of the heat I started to do some more tests but it happens I find myself with the problem that in the "sub-squares" where there are the bridges to the base of the platform, the part is not defined, it seems almost to cure the resin in more creating a rough and inaccurate surface, I have tried various inclinations but the problem persists and I had it both with resin anycubic and with the one I'm using now. Wanhao
I used the values on the sheet in Drive (Anycubic Photon Resin Settings).
I can not understand if it's a matter of resin or anything else, seeing the other prints on the group seem much more qualitative than mine.
Thank you

This is the simulated light spread in the Photon from a single 50 µm pixel. The illumination plane is at ca. 1mm (200 µm TFT, 600 glass, 150 FEP, 50 resin). Adding a 300 µm screen protector (plot of intensities at 1 mm and 1.3 mm from TFT) on top doesn't do much. The reason why it can print smaller features as the cone width at 100 µm is that the resin responds nonlinearly. It hardens in the center of the cone but not the border. But given the loss in resolution, upgrading to 4K makes little sense. What would make much more sense is to get the resin as close as possible to the TFT. If the stock screen protector would be cut out, resolution would improve drastically.

Yeah Baby! I just successfully printed the Calibration Matrix from the group's Files section. I used the green resin that came with my printer. WOW! Both of us are just amazed at the detail.

I now have the print under a 36 watt UV fingernail hardener light that has four bulbs. My question now is how long to let it harden?

What an awesome little printer and a terrific support group to boot!

i could have poured too little resin in the vat for a print, is it a good call to pause it and refill?
last time i did this the print didn't came out after resuming it. There is some move to follow to do it correctly?
