When printing a miniature that already has a base, should i still tilt it and hollow out, or just pur the base to the plate and add supports? and where would the holes go if i tilted and hollowed, in the base?

We developed a tiny microdrive to precisely target our electrodes in the mouse brain as part of brainhack 2018. Will be open source. Printed with FTD Industrial red at 9s per 50 um layer. Worked right off the print bed.

I call them done. Printed at 50 microns on a Anycubic Photon Printer. Painted with Walmart “Apple Barrel” acrylics. Some ink wash on leather belts and boots.

Considering selling off my photon. I love it and get great results, but the smell is rough for my apartment and I don't really have the time for it right now. Anyone in the US that would be interested in a Photon with 3/4 a liter of Monocure grey and 3/4 liter of wanhao yellow along with very little of the sample green goo. Also have gloves and IPA. Anyone in the UK After a Anycubic Photon with 1 Liter of anycubic green resin

OK, I have my new Photon powered up. I checked all of the parts within the package. I noticed that the instructions on page 8 say to loosen the screw in the front threaded hole of the platform. As best as I can tell, I am not able to loosen or tighten anything other than the red knob behind it. Does anyone know what metric size screw and type this is? I don't believe that there is one in there. I have a fairly well stocked hardware store locally that carries metric. I'm thinking that I need to make a run there.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

What influence does it have on flat prints directly on the build plate?

I was fun while it lasted (3 days). The resin tray leaks every print. Now the screen is ruined. Seems to be a design flaw of some sort. Thing to see what AnyCubic will do...
