Finally got something else printed than test files. First miniature done and am very happy with the results.

Some white spots from uncured resin left to the model? But only minor spots which don't matter since I will prime / paint it. The pic has bad lightning so it doesn't do justice to the model really.

Okay call me crazy but couldn't we just use a tempered glass screen protector instead of FEP on the bottom of the resin vat??? ? ? ? ? ?

I bring this up because I accidently ripped the last sheet of FEP I had. Just for giggles I used some clear packing tape and layered it so both sides were smooth. This surprisingly worked somewhat but only on areas there was no seam between the strips if tape.

**UPDATE**
Ywings ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1778451 ) we're printed on packing tape mesh lol the middle one got stuck in a seam. Picked up some glass from home Depot (was only 1.95$ usd) also got some LEXAN (?? ??‍♂️ ??) And plexiglass.
Got the glass cut and sanded so it fits. Within the vat and now going to seal the edges with some silicone!

*Update Apr28,2018*
So! After much knowledge being passed down here I decided to just go for the plain old glass at first!
No coating or anything.
Good News is that the vat did not leak. Expected news is that the platform thoroughly vacuumed itself to the glass. Next up will be trying mold release!
