Just noticed a possible glitch in the slicer program: when saving a workspace as an .stl with objects and supports, (auto supports with editing for clearance etc.). The saved .stl objects generated some extra support artifacts under the support base, lifting the whole object off of the build plate and leaving me with nothing adhered to the build plate. Nothing too terrible just don't save the workspace as an .stl, just save the sliced workspace and it works fine.

Just got a new bottle of resin in the mail. FunToDo Deep Black. I’ve read here somewhere that good settings would be 120s for 6 layers, 18s, 1s off time with 0.05mm.

Any comments or recommendations?

I made red and orange acrylic panels and they seem to work well!
I have an extra kit in orange if anyone is interested let me know.

I got my photon last Wednesday. First print was a calibration cube which failed (didn't stick to the platform). Second one to give confidence was the example cube. It was perfect. Here is my third print.

WELL HERE IT IS MY TESTED AND PROVED METHOD FOR LEVELLING RIGHT EVERY TIME!! CLEAN ALL THE SURFACES I MENTION VERY VERY VERY WELL I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU SKIP STEPS USING THIS METHOD, BUT IF YOU FOLLOW IT IT WILL WORK ALL THE TIME.

there is a way to really level like a boss clean the screen area and the bottom of the vat then the inside of the vat and the build plate Now put the vat in the machine and tighten it down good, then home with the plate loose and swap to 0.01 steps and lower the rest of the way making sure all the time to try and wobble the plate when you can no longer wobble the plate (it's not really level you just feel like it is at this point) drop it down just two more 0.01 steps then tighten the build plate and raise it three steps then set this as your new Z=0 and you will be good to go.

Now stop gawkin, I know im good looking but you lot have prints to make, Good luck out there Photonsters!!
