Over at the german Photon group Albin mentioned that there is a 5mm acrylic shield of some sort under the LCD - which also doesn't make too much sense (except maybe heat dispersion). Once he removed it, curing times dropped significantly (30-40%). Has anyone else tried that, I look at you LCD swappers/repair men(girls)...

Like many of you, I’m also looking for some spare vats. Since Anycubic seams to be pretty busy suppling us all with Photons, I decided to design a spare vat. Having access to a CNC machine during the night, I would be willing to make some for interested “Photoneers.”
The only downside is the cost. I calculated the Metal alone to cost $45; all together with screws, anodizing & CNC it will end up at around $80. Im not in it to get rich so I would offer them for $90.
This number could come down if I get enough people committed in purchasing one.
So please let me know if you are interested. Please PM me.
The vat will come with a top lid held via magnets in place for storage outside of the printer.

These parts are buttons for a musical instrument. I opened the stl and then used the copy button in the Photon slicer to create copies. Question - when building supports for each of these, is there a way to select multiple items at a time? I'm finding myself doing supports for 1 at a time... which is not a killer but wondering if there is a more efficient way. Or... a way to auto-distribute in the bed? Maybe asking too much ... but ... Thanks in advance.

After some time now with the Photon I have to search a bit more to find something to print. I've bought it to print miniatures but my "cloudy dlp printer wanting" mind didnt realize that there aren't too many to get for cheap or free :) I've bought a few heroforge minis but this doesnt scale well. The new desktophero looks promising but I think it still needs some polishing. I thought about creating a little heroforge trading group but their tos is pretty tight, like I can be lucky to get a stl in the first place :) I'll gladly pay for a good mini but €10 for every print is too much for me and heroforge lacks variety at times. So what do you guys do to get your miniatures? Maybe there is a magical place I didnt kow about :)

It's not finished but this is what I have been working on. Should have legs printing before bed. I might reprint the head in 1 piece instead of 2. Wish my uv torch would arrive. Been waiting almost a month for it to get here. Sculpted in zbrush. Processed in meshmixer for hollowing. Vent holes added in zbrush. Supports all done in Photocentric Studio. Monocure resin. I love and hate it at the same time. It will all depend on the uv torch and touch ups using liquid resin in cracks and holes from supports. This has been a great test to see what kind of detail I can get away with. Layers are 50 microns. In the areas with sculpted hair you can't even see any layers.
