Never tried to print something as big as this one, pretty much max size of the printer. The slicer says 43ml but I dont trust it... I guess it woud be better to watch the tank, wouldn't it? I actually dont even know how much I'm pouring into the tank :)

Hello group! I didnt print for over a year because I didnt have the patience to deal with bad miniature quality. But now my wife is bugging me for prints and I want to start over again. So should I update the Firmware? Is aa worth it? And is there any new go to slicer other than the stock one? Or has some miniature printing youtube god arrived to help me to start over? Sorry for the noob questions :)

Hey guys, i have a Little support problem. Every time when i print something flat like a miniature base angled with Support the Support is fusing a great deal into the flat bottom. Does someone know were i should start tweaking?

Can't believe that I didnt do this sooner. I luv my new power & cost dashboard :)
My setup:
2 x TPlink HS-110 for a Prusa MK2 & a Photon (duh) :)

***Linux server***
Graphite-web for the graphite backend
go-carbon for the graphite server (Ok this is clearly an overkill but I dont like the normal carbon graphite daemon)
Grafana for the Dashboard

The python script from this site to get the power:
https://www.beardmonkey.eu/…/collect-and-store-realtime-dat…

but I had to tinker a bit because it was not compatible with go-carbon:
https://gist.github.com/el…/ac9d5c4425c9139c3eb8453dff5a9f65

And a lot of tinkering with the power calculation. If anyone has done something similar or had even cooler ideas I really would like to see it :)

Does someone know what I can do about the uneven base? I printed this with monocure blue and 15 sec layer time.

After some time now with the Photon I have to search a bit more to find something to print. I've bought it to print miniatures but my "cloudy dlp printer wanting" mind didnt realize that there aren't too many to get for cheap or free :) I've bought a few heroforge minis but this doesnt scale well. The new desktophero looks promising but I think it still needs some polishing. I thought about creating a little heroforge trading group but their tos is pretty tight, like I can be lucky to get a stl in the first place :) I'll gladly pay for a good mini but €10 for every print is too much for me and heroforge lacks variety at times. So what do you guys do to get your miniatures? Maybe there is a magical place I didnt kow about :)

Hey Guys, I have a little problem printing minis. I've tried multiple times now with a lot of different angles, 2 different resins and of course different settings. In the slicer I'm seeing support go up about 0,5 cm and then the mini base begins but in pretty much all of my tries the base starts at the bottom and gets deformed. The slicer doesn't let me rise it higher but I guess I make some fundamental errors :) My settings are 12sec exposure, 6 base 60 sec with Monocure clear. Can someone give me some tips for mini printing? Also dont mind the rest of the mini as it wasnt high res and a desktop hero test.

Are you guys using another software to create support? I tried b9 creator but it doesnt blow me away :)

I don‘t think that this is 100% accurate but I just wanted to have some kind of baseline. printed a hero forge example at 140%, x 45 degree, y 45 degree & Auto support.
If someone has better method I’m open for suggestions ?
