Hi guys, I'm new to the group.
Thanks for the add ?
I'm 99% of the way to convincing myself that a photon or 2 is a good investment. All the info I can find regarding the photon seems positive. Can't really find any faults.. but
I know that no system is completely perfect.
So with that in mind, have any of you run in to any issues with your machines or are there any known issues that I should be aware of? Thanks in advance ?

My photon came today and the only part that was different from all the others was the spare fep sheet. It wasn't in the manual, but in it's own little cardboard package! (Pics 2 and 3)

Finger prints and dust. Be mindful not to get finger prints on the underside of the vat or the inside while the vat is empty.
Also up hear static Elect is constant in this dry climate and that vat's drum attracts dust like nothing else. Just using my micro fiber clothe causes static and makes it difficult to clean.
using a window cleaner to midigate the static and leave a clean clear window. Any prints on left in the area of the print will blur the focus of light. And any dust will block light.
Found this out the hard way years ago with the B9.
You can also store your vats with resin in a dark light proof box between prints.

Something I have noticed during table calibration:
I can see now how the LCD can be easily broken by accident.
when I was calibrating using the paper I didn't remove the paper as it seemed like the resistance was just right according to the video. As a result I started to tighten the screw to lock the table and noticed the table moving down as I slowly turned the lock screw. I stopped short of tightening and noticed the paper would not move. I removed the screw the paper moved.
so I stepped it up .01 twice left the paper in and tightened the set screw as it tightened the table again drops down the paper gets tight.I loosened it again up .01 then tightened it down. this time the paper was removable with some resistance like in the video.
My thoughts here is people who follow the steps in the video end up getting the paper snug press on the table and tighten the screw and the screw is pressing down on the LCD screen causing the crack or breakage.
