Last night print I added manual supports in B9 but missed a couple of spots. So it's not a perfect print. Leason is to double check.

Just got my Photon - two days from Amazon Prime. Build quality is awesome, BUT, there is no set screw to tighten on the build platform!

Anyone know the leveling set screw dimensions?

Edit 2: Got an M6 20mm screw from the hardware store. Fully screwed in it keeps the bed from moving, so I'm off to try the first test print now.

I haven't seen a Photon in person and haven't seen any pictures of the back side or of one disassembled. I'm wondering if the linear slide Z column can be removed easily? Pictures of how it is attached to the base would also be very helpful.

I don't know you go through all the horror of being the first poor sod to change a Photon screen and not one Photonster offers to print you a medal.......sniff......just sayin.

Is there a document on how to take a machine apart? It has been advised I have a peek inside and check my connections.All I can find are FDM videos for 'Anycubic'. Currently our ISP here at work is blocking Anycubic's web site. No idea why.

Just finished testing the next PhotoCentric resin. Please add to your spreadsheet:

PhotoCentric UV Firm Clear

Layer thickness: 0.04
Exposure time: min 15secs (to be on the safe side, 18 worked great)
Off time: 1
Bottom time: 70
Layers 8

Mind your support (30-50%). Support is easily removable. I used mid settings and worked out ok.
Fortunately not very smelly.
Use warm soapy water solution to clean. Cure under UV for at least 2x20mins. Give the objects a final IPA rub.

Having a bit of an issue with the Monocure Rapid Grey resin. I know it is most likely my fault, but for the life of me I can’t get it to print as good as the 3D Okay White resin. The prints come out lacking details, and “bigger” (overcured?) than they should. I even went down to 8 sec exposure time with 1 second off, but ithey came out no different from the prints done with 11 seconds exposure time. Any suggestions?

What is one of the fastest and best resins?
I also know FunToDo is popular do you use standard blend or industrial blend?
