Restocks on amazon soon. This will be my 1st DLP printer, but I have the xyzprinting Nobel 1.0 SLA from 2015 but it will not boot up anymore, seems like the motherboard needs to be replaced but I can’t source just a replacement motherboard for it. I really look forward get the photon. I’m a little worried about the issues Flint Read has had with his , like having to get a replacement LCD screen.

Is there a resin that can be used with the photon that can be printed and not destroyed by leaving it exposed to UV?

I figure it is not a thing, but I'm curious

So, what's our options on clear resin? Is monocure our best bet or only?

In browsing through FEP film suppliers I come across food bags made of the stuff which are heat sealed.

Does this mean that pin holes, cracks, or other failures of the film can be plastic welded with heat and maybe a small trimming to fill a gap?

Has anyone thought to try this with any success?
