For those who may have ordered from 3dprintersonlinestore, have you received your printer yet? Or anything else ordered from them? I did some reading before ordering from them and the site got the basic reviews, some bad and some good, but it seemed legit. Now I'm not too sure anymore: it's been three weeks and the order status is still "processed". Did try to contact them today and nothing. I'm glad to have paid through PayPal, since there's some buyers protection, but it's still pretty nasty to wait for a long time. Might just ask for a refund and buy from somewhere else..what do you think? Might the New year be still affecting the restock and shipping? Getting jumpy.

Hi all. I’m new to the hobby, technology and this specific Photon printer. Just ordered from “3D Printers Bay” yesterday. I hope to have it soon. In doing some preliminary research, I’m having difficulty finding any info on resin durability. Also, how quickly do non-primed prints become brittle if over-exposed to UV over time. Additionally, what is a typical curing duration (sun and artificial source)? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

So, my tests with the Photocentric Clear flex UV resin is done:

Layer thickness: 0.04
Exposure time: 20secs (18 would also be ok)
Off time: 1
Bottom time: 50
Layers 12

Mind your support. Support is easily removable. I used the thick and mid settings and worked out ok.

A bit smelly, but can be filtered with active coal if installed. Use soapy water solution to clean. Cure under UV for at least 2x40mins. Give the objects a final IPA rub to remove all stickiness.

Very fine details possible - see Terror Dog'S toes. Bendable to a degree. If too thick, it'll rip.

Mildly excited to discover my local Microcenter carries a variety of Monocure resin in stock. Once the income tax returns come in so I can order my Photon, at least I have resin locally.

Hi all! I've followed 3D printing for years and am familiar with FDM printing, though I haven't owned my own machine.

After a lot of research, I've finally decided to buy my own. I very nearly went with the CR-10 for clean, proven FDM prints, but chose instead to take a bit of a risk and go with the Anycubic Photon; a bit of a risk for me because it's both resin-based and a new, unproven printer.

I hope I made a good choice! I just wanted to introduce myself and get involved in this community. I look forward to meeting other Photon owners!

After watching this guy changing the blue panel to orange colour panel so I did some unscientific experiment to see if orange colour filter out UV light better than blue.. (dunno what is the wavelength for the torch im using, it is a torch from UV resin glue). https://youtu.be/43oJbXJl8uw
