This might have been asked already; has anyone tested any of the castable resins yet? I'm still waiting for the printer to arrive, but I'm super interested to know how it behaves. I can make a mold out of any resin object, but it would be even better to be able to cast in both bronze and silver without an additional step.

hello again everyone! this time i achieved my first articulated print with photon.
the downsides are that i tried to print two object, and it only came out the elephant with supports created with B9 software (50%density). on the right a smaller print failed with 30% density on photon slicer's supports.
by the way the print look overall is good, except for the rear legs... do you know what could have happened? do i need even more supports? thanks in advance

Hello all and thank you for the add. Was curious what everyone thinks about the Anycubic Photo vs the Wanhao D7? also looking for good resin to go with it. any recommendations for resin/place to buy online here in the US? I know nothing about the resin except I heard it smells. This will be my first printer when I decide on one, haha. Thank you for the help!

I don‘t think that this is 100% accurate but I just wanted to have some kind of baseline. printed a hero forge example at 140%, x 45 degree, y 45 degree & Auto support.
If someone has better method I’m open for suggestions ?

Well, Regular viewers will know I have been having a problem with Z axis wobble.

It turns out that when i removed the sexy blue cap on the top of the bar retention unit, The bar was floating around in there.

So I ordered a 16xx 8 x 6 ball race bearing with a flange (flange is 1mm) and dropped that in, Hey presto! it fits like a glove and I now have zero Z axis wobble (maybe they missed it in the factory or maybe I am just a bit unlucky). So if your seeing wobble in that axis have a look under the top cap and see what you have there.

OK chaps back to work nothing more to see here....
