Amy Liao you might want to share this picture on the anycubic site. :) awesome minitures well done holden8702

Thanks. These were downscaled directly from designs used to 1/72 or 1/144 scales. Shapeways usually reject these to print unless arms and legs were thickened...

i still need to find some ww2 german tank crews or model some if i have time.

Paul Rowden
2019-01-29 04:08:16

Can you tell me where you got the files from ?

Holden8702
2019-01-29 04:11:02

Paul Rowden my own work, all figures were done with Pixologic Scupltris destined to my shapeways shops.

Holden8702 very nice, wish I could sculpt I can 3dcad but can't get my head around sculpt!

Holden8702
2019-01-29 04:16:06

Paul Rowden My advice is you try Sculptris. It's easy and fun to use. A four years child can have a nice alien done after four minutes playing with it.

2019-01-29 04:17:31

Holden8702 going to download now and have a look!! ?? ?

Holden8702
2019-01-29 04:20:16

Paul Rowden Tell me if you have any doubts on it.

Steve Rawley
2019-01-29 05:22:37

Very nice! you printed my 1950's waterskiers for my N scale layout (1/160). They still are the most admired part of my entire room! Would you be able to sculpt me a man in a suit running with he tie blowing?

Holden8702
2019-01-29 05:34:07

I did this pose figure years ago, destined to a Chris Boffoli's picture: https://www.facebook.com/....../894550690606712/...... So sorry, I promished Chris the figure never will be shared or open for sale.

Steve Rawley
2019-01-29 05:43:16

oh man! that is exactly what I need. I have a crop dusting corn field that would make the exact scene from the movie

Just downloaded it, seems to run fine on Win10 despite being legacy.
And I got an alien in under 4 minutes.
Human shape, not so much... LOL

Paul Rowden
2019-01-29 14:11:36

Downloaded it last night and joined Turbo squid to download OBJ files, to use one of the files to edit/ manipulate but it wouldn’t open ☹️ will have a go tonight ? ? ?

Holden8702
2019-01-29 14:39:15

Paul Rowden I use to rescale .obj files from Sculptris with Blender. From it, can be exported to .stl too.

Where did you find the files for all of these?

Holden8702
2019-01-24 22:51:29

These are my own designs, I've been working on many different models for years: https://www.shapeways.com/shops/panzervstanks

Ricardo Leon
2019-01-24 22:52:26

Great job, too bad they are not on thingiverse or available for free

Anthony Watts
2019-01-24 22:53:21

How are you finding the durability of these? I have been printing some miniature parts but I'm having issues with them being brittle and breaking.

Holden8702
2019-01-24 22:57:32

Really I'm starting working with these resins. I can't know if this material will disintegrate in one or fifty years. Now after UV curing, material is only slighty more brittle than injected plastic models, thinking on they are very thin too.

Anthony Watts
2019-01-24 23:03:15

I am thinking of trying a bit of Monocure Flex mixed in - I ordered some the other day so hopefully it will help a bit!

Holden8702
2019-01-24 23:07:57

Anthony Watts too soon for me to try mixing resins, but I'm interesting in that, and I like the SAS motto: Who dares wins.

Michael Tennent
2019-01-24 23:18:34

I'm curious as to how you printed these. Did you do multiples at one time? I'm considering getting a Photon for printing very small model railroad detail parts, but most postings are for much larger items. And by small, I mean small. Z scale street light shades, for example. Interested in any comments about printing individual tiny parts.

Holden8702
2019-01-24 23:27:34

I've printed figures for 1/350 scale a month ago, but sadly were in Anycubic Grey Resin that is more dense thus soften details and overthicken thin parts. I'm very happy with this Druckwege Resin, thin parts are right printed.

Holden8702
2019-01-24 23:29:36

I don't know what you mean about "multiples". These firearms were printed as this:

Michael Tennent
2019-01-24 23:32:34

Holden8702
Yeah, that's what I meant. So you tilt them and print with short supports, not directly on bed. I have a filament printer, but want more detail. Thanks for the photo.

Holden8702
2019-01-24 23:38:27

Michael Tennent Yes, this is absolutely different that the filament printer proccess, it works upside down. My advice is you take a look on some youtube tutorial videos before make your decision, but sure you will be amazed with this 3d printer.

Because Halloween is more of an US event. But I've seen offers for Europe or specific countries only from time to time too.

What do you mean with no good Job? I printed a few l with this Resin without issues

Fernando Daniel Pedrazzoli
2019-10-19 19:45:23

I printed 25 micorns layers with 8 seconds exposure and I didn't get sharp edges as I did with the anycubic resin.

Davy Struyf
2019-10-19 19:50:09

You do realise that pretty much every brand and color of resin has different optimal settings right and you cant just take whatever the settings for the anycubic resin was. If it isnt printing sharp reduce exposure time. You are probably overexposing

Lee Baxter
2019-10-19 19:50:22

Fernando Daniel Pedrazzoli the maybe it just need different settings thats all

Davy Struyf
2019-10-19 19:52:20

Also kinda hard to trouble shoot without pictures of the prints

Fernando Daniel Pedrazzoli
2019-10-19 20:06:04

Will try again

Fernando Daniel Pedrazzoli
2019-10-19 20:06:10

thanks

Fernando Daniel Pedrazzoli
2019-10-21 04:56:22

Thanks Davy. That may be : overexposing
