My printer keeps turning off and resetting itself. Ive tried multiple files and different usb sticks. I've only had it for a short time. I've had a few successful prints then this started happening today.

So I'm trying to understand off time. From what im reading depending on your firmware your default is either 6.5 or 4.5 sec. Setting a number lower than this in the slicer won't actually change anything other than throwing off the time estimate. If this is correct why am i seeing so many off times set below the default on the resin settings google sheet? I could assume that 1 just means use the default but 1.5-4 what would be the point? If im wrong please set me straight.

Woot finally got mine ordered this morning on lightning deals! Should i order some kapton tape. I've seen some discussion about that. Any downsides to taping the edges?

So ive been waiting a couple weeks here in the US expecting the Photon to go on a flash sale on Amazon. It's done the opposite and gone up in price 4 times since i started watching. I thought they would want to clear the inventory before the new model arrives. The price is up to $489 but it does look like the seller is a third party. Guess I'll be waiting for the new model to be in stock on Amazon. Just hoping it doesn't take too long.
