Hi all! I've not printed in several months and went to do so today. Chitubox upgraded from 1.4 to 1.6. "Something" has changed with auto support (don't judge me :-) ) as there are so many supports that it is impossible for there to not be significant damage to the model upon support removal. Many of the middle support now physically touch and merge with the model. Anyone else experience this issue? Any suggestions (except "do manual supports")? Nothing I've tried has changed the "number" of supports being added. I've tried multiple STLs. Never had an issue before the upgrade.

Anyone have any luck sourcing a build plate in the US? I may need to replace my plate and I'm not having much luck. FEPshop is out of stock, plus between shipping and Euro to dollars, this is a bit expensive. I've checked eBay, Amazon, Google, etc. thanks in advance.

I've had my photon several months and have been printing non stop with minor issues, but I never really felt like a member of the community due to lack of issues (note: this is a poor attempt at humor). Well, I cracked my first screen this weekend so I feel like I'm now a real 3D printer enthusiast. I ordered a replacement from what I believe is Anycubic on Ebay, but that is a viper's nest of trash if I have ever seen one. (Ebay, not Anycubic). Anyone order anything off Amazon that was "legit?" I've got a funny feeling that "cracked screens" while happen from time to time.

Otherwise, I still believe that for the price point, the Photon is tough to beat for casual 3D miniature model printing. I think most folks who are new to 3D printing under estimate the nuances of 3D printing and tend to throw the hardware under the bus (or at least I under estimated it).

Love this group and the Photonsters.org site. Great work.
