Hey all, new member with an interesting question. I thought I have been doing pretty good on reading up on common problems and questions about photon prints, but I think I found one I haven’t seen yet.
In a nut shell, up till now I have just been printing minis that require support of some kind. Today I started building the Emma iPhone stand from MyMiniFactory. It has quite a few small, precision parts to print out. I set a base layer of 8 like I usually do and started printing. This is my first time using no supports however. Everything was looking great, except now I have a noticeable layer stuck to the bottom of my pieces. Pretty sure this is going to cause some assembly issues when I finish.
When making small pieces like this with no supports, do y’all just zero out the number of base layers and print straight to the plate?
