What would people (uk) recommed for a uv 405 nm laser for joining resin parts?
Or torch?

Could someone tell me the latest firmware for a photon, not the s. Is 5.0.2 for the s version?

***FIXED***
I'm running elegoo standard grey resin.
Bottom exposure @ 8 layers/75 sec.
Then 8 sec exposure.
I get the reassuring "pop" when my first layers go down.
I've releveled "Flint" but my printer has started doing this, it was fine.
I think the fep has become slack, and to cloudy.
Could any one help?
Here's what I was trying to do and here's my result. The
badges are only 20mm by 2mm thick.
Printed flat, at 45 and 45 with a slight twist.

UPDATE.. Checked the uv light and it was ok.
Updated the firmware as this was susgested to 4.2.18.
But I think it was the fep, I checked it using the sound spectrum and it was at 234 mhz tightened it to 344mhz and the prints are great.

This is primarily for UK users.
I seen someone on the fourms recommending this stuff to clean uncured resin from prints.
So I've been using it on various models today.
I've used it neat in a ultrasonic bath, and it's a decent cleaner, it removes alot of uncured resin.
I still need to swirl it in some ipa to remove the final "tacky" feel to the part.
Over all its OK, cheap and safe to use in a ultrasonic bath.

I still prefer acetone, 30 to 40 secs and it's completely removed the uncured resin.

2 weeks of learning to use the photon.
Using a cr10s fdm printer for 2 years.

1. Learn to level.
2. Learn to tune your fep (part of leveling).
3. Acetone cleans uncured resin better than ipa.
4. This one is on going, chitu box is good, but learn how to use the prussia slicer, and validator.
Prussia slicer supports seem better than chitu box. Blue photos are chitu box supports, but the actual print has prussia supports, alot less and a cleaner print.

I hope this helps some people ?

Starting to get this photon dialed in, post processing on these badges was a bath in acetone, then painted.
The smallest badge is 11mm in width.

Having a blast with my photon.
Here's my standard dredd badge 2012, 105mm x 80mm for scale.
A few 1/6th scale badges and a small classic badge for my wall.
Doing a set of 1/12th badges, to see how small we can go.

OK, I know this goes against conventional wisdom.
I've run the calibration test and it give me an exposure setting of 18s, number 9 looked the best to me.
Here's my calibration model.
If anyone could give me any advice, it would be great.
It seems to have got all the little details, but all help is great ?
