This grindy noise started today while doing this print. The weather (and the room the printer is in) is a quite a lot hotter than the last couple of days, would this be any concern? As it is only 3 days old I wouldn't think greasing would be needed yet. It's only happening when the plate goes down

Question about the firmware... My new Photon S has 3.4.1. / UI 2.6. I see in the changelog for the latest 5.0.2 firmware that it offers support for the Fauxton/Photon S to read .pws files but this is already the file extension I've been using successfully. Is there any reason to upgrade to 5.0.2 ?

Has anyone had much of a play around with the new Photon Workshop software for supporting/hollowing their models? Looks okay, and it would be good to be able to do most of the workflow in one program. Also, another question about file formats, is there a difference when slicing to a: .pws, .photon or .photons ? (I have a Photon S)

Failure number 2 on my new Photon S, this was after a clean, re-level, and tighten of the FEP from the first fail (which didn't look as bad).. Suggestions? Or is the printer DOA?

BUP BOWWW.. FAIL! Hey all, my new Photon S arrived today and I was excited to get it setup and print my first test cube. Alas, like many other new owners, I had a failure.. The thing is.. The cube looks basically perfect except the 'PHOTON' text in the middle seems to have failed and messed the 'ANYCUBIC' text up a bit also.. Any ideas what caused this?

I do notice that I get the FEP 'pop' sound after each layer, perhaps it's not tight enough? It felt/sounded tight out of the box. Cheers!
