Hello all, any idea what these flat areas could be? The model would have been printed almost horizontal (with the supports on his back).

I ran it through the validator and thought that might have caused that, but looking at photon file it doesn't seem to be the cause. Any ideas?

Note for anyone using the search function in the future: technology outlet grey resin used for this for anyone wondering. Seemed to print very well. Exposure 12 secs at 0.05mm, 8 bottom layers at 70s each.

The original plastic is too weak and it broke in the first print, I replaced it with aluminum

Been working on a few Artisan Guild vampire models using Chitubox and my Photon S, with Elegoo Grey resin. So far all of my prints scaling the models down to 85% for a more true 28mm scale have turned out incredibly soft in detail. This is the fourth run after re-adjusting the build plate z-axis, leveling everything, and increasing my exposure time.

Current settings are:
0.04mm layer height
11 sec exposure
6 bottom layers
60 sec exposure

I'm adding good supports so nothing fails, the models are angled back slightly maybe 10 degrees or so. but so far the details are just really soft, even after several IPA baths. The supports are also turning out much larger than I would have expected due to curing. Anyone seen this before? Thanks

Another successful print... I’m loving this thing! I need to work out supports a little better, and I still have to prep, prime, and paint... but so far so good!

Another Not Yoda to add to the pile!
Still running Hero Resin in Teal until next fix of colors comes in ;) First attempt at hollowing and putting drain holes in. This little is about 3 inches long, printed flat on bed, no supports.

I am printing flat squares on the bed directly, all the exposed surfaces have horizontal surface lines from the print bed surface finish. Anyone else just sand their bed to remove this?
