Not all resins are created equal but for general figurine making they cost around £50 a litre (it does rather depedn where you live of course, monocure is expensive in the UK but Anycubic is expensive in Australia). However there are some engineering resins from B9Creactions that are closer to £200/litre, resins like Nylon 6 for example. Has anyone tried them? Are they that much better (for engineering applications, durable, not brittle, suited for gears and wearing parts). They do free samples but want $50 to ship it to me....

Dear group.
Im looking at UV Florescent tubes for Curing
There are Two types, Black Light (BLB) and UV (BL)

The BLB should be around 400 - 320 nm.
The BL around is supposed to have longer wavelength. But is it too long? longer than 405?

Maybe i should just buy two of each and put it in a box. ?

Ive been searching in the group for threads about BLB and BL florescent tubes. I couldnt find a any.

First print with photon. 1st attemp failed, bad leveling of plate. This is the second try.
The model was made for be printed 20cm height and reduced to 3,5cm height for use in 28mm scale tabletop game.

EDIT: I finally got back to this. It was a slicing issue. Not sure why it did it. Something to watch out for I guess.

Upgraded to 4.2.19. First print in that firmware. Is this frame shearing around the railing? I see some people still having issues with 4.2.19 so ill try going back down a verson or try Epax firmware.

Thanks for adding me to the group!

Just received my Photon yesterday and ran the photon.Photon test print off of the included USB stick (I've read that it can be problematic). Yeah, not so good. What would cause this to happen? I took my time trying to level the print plate, following more detailed instructions than those in the manual.
